The pandemic has changed consumer behavior forever. People now more than ever are shopping for products online and this includes items that are HSA-eligible. There are now a fair number of places on the web where consumers can spend their HSA dollars. In this article we will spend some time introducing you to marketplaces that sell HSA-eligible products.

First, let’s talk about what you should look for in an online HSA marketplace. At the surface they may all appear to be similar, but upon closer inspection there are some subtle differences that can make the HSA shopping experience hassle-free. Look for the following attributes in an online HSA marketplace:

  • FSA/HSA cards are accepted at checkout

  • Easy access to old receipts online

  • Item on receipt is marked as FSA/HSA eligible

  • Items are clearly flagged as FSA/HSA eligible

  • A vast array of products are available for purchase
